55 Air scouts returned with enthusiastic reports of a highly successfule air scout day at the san fransci airport. Every scout had a turn in a link trainer. The scouts went through many planes 2 and 4 motor transports and a B17 Flying Fortress with opportunity for a close-up inspection of a B25 Mitchell bomber, a black widow and a P51 Mustang. They visited the control tower and the shops and had lunch in the United Airlines cafeteria as guests of the company. As a finale the army flyers biuzzed the field repeatedly in their plaine.
